The countdown is on. The Rand Show 2026 is South Africa’s largest and most iconic consumer show. It takes over the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec from 2–6 April 2026. Show hours are daily 09h00-19h00, with entrance gates closing at 18h00. Enjoy five full days of shopping, family fun, live entertainment and crowd-pleasing spectacle. Everything is built around one promise: a full day out with something for everyone.

Jessie T. Usher to Attend Comic Con Africa 2025!

Comic Con Africa is excited to announce that celebrated actor Jessie T. Usher will be attending this year’s festival from Friday 29 August to Sunday, 31 August 2025.

Usher is best known for his breakout role as the lightning-fast A-Train in Amazon Prime Video’s global hit The Boys. His powerful, high-energy performance instantly made him a fan favourite among superhero and pop culture enthusiasts alike.

In addition to The Boys, Usher has showcased his impressive range in numerous acclaimed films and series.

He portrayed Dylan Hiller in Independence Day: Resurgence, John Shaft Jr. (JJ) alongside Samuel L. Jackson in Shaft on Netflix, and Trevor in the chilling Paramount thriller Smile. He also starred as Tony in Apple TV’s The Banker, Adam in Dangerous Lies on Netflix, Evan in Universal Pictures’ Almost Christmas, and Tayshon in When the Game Stands Tall.

On television, Usher brought Cam Calloway to life in STARZ’s Survivor’s Remorse, and captivated audiences as Davon in AMC’s Tales of The Walking Dead. His versatility also extends to voice work, where he played Quinn in Netflix’s animated feature Seal Team.

A dynamic and charismatic performer, Usher has continually impressed audiences with his ability to bring complex characters to life across genres from action and comedy to horror and drama.

During his time at Comic Con Africa 2025, Jessie T. Usher will be taking part in interactive experiences on the Main Stage, and offering personal fan interaction.

Panel Discussions: Fans will have the chance to hear Usher share behind-the-scenes stories, insights from his diverse career, and his experiences playing some of today’s most iconic characters. His panels promise an exciting mix of energy, humour, and inspiration.
